14th Annual Butte Bouldering Bash (Wrap up)

Year 14! and what a year it was!

This year we saw over 100 people coming to compete and climb! Our biggest year yet!

We really appreciate all the participants, sponsors, and dedicated volunteers who contributed to the success of this year's event. It's an awesome thing to see when the community all comes together to support a great local cause - The Southwest Montana Climbers Coalition

Thanks to Kyle Redberg and Carter Bramson for the great photos!

In the morning we had registration and got to give out an amazing donation from Mystery Ranch to all our participants. Their generosity was greatly appreciated by all who attended.

The morning was also spent greeting old friends, meeting new ones, Checking out Mio Mi's Pop up shop, helping answering questions, and getting people acquainted to the surrounding bouldering areas. Plus loading up on calories!

After a safety meeting, a review of the rules, and a list of thank yous, over 100 climbers set off into the woods to explore and climb the boulders.

And off to the boulders for your top 10 sends - or as many as you can manage!

And back to the lot for an amazing taco bar, celebrations, awards, and great raffle. A special thank you to Meg Koenig for the amazing work with the food this year.

And we finished up the evening with a great slideshow from Henry Schlotzhauer highlighting local climbs, history, perspective, and climbers from around the region.

This event couldn't happen without our great sponsors, volunteers, and participants, and we would like to recognize these great brands for helping make this event a success.
