A mostly blue-bird Winter day awaited anyone who came out to the Pipestone Desert to play--the takers were: Tom, Guy and Missy from the 'Zone; Levi, Dean, and Kelsey from the 'Zoo; and Molly, Lyddie, Ladd and myself from the Pit.
The day's Master of Ceremonies:
Dean topped out a tall-one from the back-side
Missy in full control with Kelsey on the spot
Kelsey's turn on the stone
Levin pulling hard on the toughest send of the day
Dean finishing out the day on cruiser ground
A great outing had by all...

Trailer Daze
February was a pretty quiet month for me. With the boss out of the country, I had some time to pull out the trailer and hang in the Boulder Batholith. While we've encountered a wetter winter than usual, thankfully the psych has been at great levels. Lots of exploring, new finds, climbing, scoping and fun was had...and we're getting ready to finish off the month right by heading out for this weekend. Should be a great time.
Here's some pics from over the last month, a handful being taken by my good friend Brian Hayes check him out at: http://www.flickr.com/people/fotohayes/

Got to see Scott H Biram down at the Filling Station...great show!
Snow hindered a send, but Pat will cruise in better conditions...really cool line!
They Dance Alone...Dwight Bishop's hardest sport route?
Exploring the 'ice caves' and tight canyons of Tony's
New find in the Trailer Boulders
Maybe I'll see you out there?
Cheers!

Weekend Whiteout
No, not the sniffing kind--the cold and blustery stuff.
Hardcore K-bros climbing weather
Coming off the hill after being "over" the weather--next stop, the Desert...
Once we headed from the Resorts to the Desert, dryer rock not hit by the mini-storm was located.
Pat, pebble project progressing...
Tom and Lyddie eyeing the future

Keeping the stoke goin'
Trailer Trials
With Tom's trailer nestled in a out-of-the-way spot for February adventures, bouldering in the 'Lith this month now has a base camp for small gatherings and cold weather sleeping for good friends.
Bad sawing technique leads to bad scarring:-(
Even in a place not known for having any decent boulders, there are decent boulders in the batholith.
Cool end tables anyone?
Tom and Bryan's find--one of the best looking steep faces found in a long time...waiting for some pullers.
